Hi, my name is Maryam Webster. Yes, it’s my real name, and no, I’m not related to the dictionary. However, I am a multiply published author, trained researcher and have advanced linguistic and marketing skills. With masters and other advanced degrees in Psychology, Marketing, and Education, I’ve worked as a private practice psychotherapist and researcher of human behavior over thirty years, as a business coach for twenty, and as a teacher of both high school English, and English as a Second Language.

I’ve been the owner of businesses from a custom incense and perfume shop to an educational institution and a marketing agency for women in addition to my private practice.

Today I combine all my experience as a Business Psychologist for helping professionals.

I work with therapists, charity founders, spas, coaches, teachers, and retreat leaders to name a few. We deal with the complex emotions that go with running a business and transform those that can block you from thriving. Simultaneously, I work on a business’s marketing copy including book editing and content marketing to get you more clients, subscribers, buyers or whatever the goal might be. I blend my skills as a researcher with an incisive deep dive to communicate the core of the critical message in every piece I write.

I’ve edited and collaborated on scores of white papers, academic theses, and books in the areas of Health, Wellness, Social Justice and Energy Psychology. As just one team-player example, here’s my bio from the book 20 Masters of Emotional Freedom Technique (“tapping”) collaborated to write: Freedom At Your Fingertips.

My years as a psychologist focused intently on not only what makes people take action, but importantly – what makes people NOT act. Knowing this, your website copy can kindly, with great compassion, help them to see and seek solutions they need, like the ones you provide.
